GOCHARGE respects individual privacy and values the trust of its customers and partners and takes its responsibilities regarding the security of this data very seriously.

In this context, we make you aware of GOCHARGE's privacy policy, which explains what personal data we collect, for what purposes we may use it, how we treat it, with whom we share it, for how long we keep it as well as the ways in which you can contact us and exercise your rights.

1)     Who is responsible for the processing of your data?

GOCHARGE, S.A, with registered office at Avenida Vasco da Gama, 1410, Vila Nova de Gaia, collective entity no. 516883585, is the entity responsible for the processing of your data.


If, through our platform, you enter a contract to supply electrical energy to the public network of MOBI.E, EVIO - Electrical Mobility, Lda (hereinafter EVIO), with registered office at Av. D. Afonso Henriques, 1825, 4450-017 Matosinhos, as Electric Energy Supplier ("CEME) shall also be responsible for the processing of your data. This entity may also independently collect your data directly from you and have its own privacy policy. You should therefore contact this entity if you have any changes or questions regarding their use of your data. In such cases GOCHARGE shall have no liability or intervention whatsoever.


2)     What information do we collect about you?

GOCHARGE only collects and processes personal data that is directly provided by you, namely either by filling in a contact form, by purchasing a GOCHARGE product or service as well as by a virtual technical visit report or commissioning report, which in general will be, as the case may be, the following:



1. Identification data

 Name, numbers and expiry dates of civil identification documents (and respective images), among others.

2. Contact details


  Address, mobile, e-mail.

3. Economic and transactional data


 Bank Details.

4. Customer history data


 Answers to Satisfaction Surveys, Customer Number, Contract Number, Complaint History, among others.

5. Platform usage data

 Login, password, registration number, among others.

6. Vehicle data 


 Number plate, consumption data, location (when activated by you), among others.

7. Application Data, Internet, and Social Networks


 Location, use of GOCHARGE's website and social media.

8. Dados do local da instalação de wallbox

 Installation address, type of installation site, contracted power, electricity bill, photo of the site where you intend to install the wallbox, photo of the electrical panel where the wallbox will be connected, estimated distance between the electrical panel and the wallbox installation site (meters), among others.

9. Informações do carregador

 Manufacturer and model, serial number, photo of the serial number, and more. Infrastructure data. Testing and verification.


3)     How and why do we use your personal data?

We use your personal data to:



1. Client management, execution, and compliance with our pre-contractual and contractual obligations.

 Respond to your requests

 Perform the services contained and referred to in the Terms and Conditions.

2. Communicating and managing our contractual relationship with you

 Contacting you for administrative and/or operational reasons, ensuring that we manage your relationship with us correctly and resolve your request and/or enquiry. 

 Call recording for quality-of-service monitoring.

3. Personalize and improve your customer experience

 Contact you to carry out Satisfaction Surveys about our services.  We understand that we have a legitimate interest in processing your personal data for this purpose, which we believe is also beneficial to you as it allows us to better serve you and to guarantee you the highest possible satisfaction as our Customer. At any time, you can inform us that you no longer wish to be contacted for these purposes.

4. Marketing

 If you are our Customer, we will use your personal data to provide you with news from us, such as new offers, new campaigns and new GOCHARGE services that you may like. We consider that we have a legitimate interest in sending you this information as it will also be of benefit to you by allowing us to improve your experience and to provide you with information that we believe may be of interest to you.  

 If you are not our Customer, we will use your personal data to inform you of offers you may like, only where you have given us your express consent to do so, for example when you complete a contact form and tick such an option.

 For these purposes, we may also analyze your user or customer profile, namely through your browsing and/or purchase history, to determine your preferences and thus send you personalized information.

 We will also use your personal data to send you communications about mobility products and services from Salvador Caetano Auto, SGPS, S.A.'s subsidiaries, where you have given us your express and explicit consent to do so.

 At no time will we share your personal data with other third parties for marketing purposes unless we have your express and explicit consent.

4)     How do we keep your personal data secure and how long will we keep your data?

We have implemented technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access.

Not all the aforementioned data is necessarily processed by GOCHARGE. When registering on the platform, the User is only required to provide the following details: mobile phone number, e-mail address and password.

As for the location data, by default the geolocation functionality is switched off. It is up to the User to enable the sharing of their location in the settings of their mobile device and to give the corresponding permissions to the GOCHARGE application, which will only process the location data to indicate to the User the nearest charging station(s) or to assist the User in defining a route. At any time, the User may deactivate the geolocation functionality, without any necessary justification and without any negative repercussions.

You may agree to receive push notifications via the settings on your mobile device. From the same GOCHARGE may send communications to the user via letter, e-mail, SMS and push notifications relating to the functionalities of the platform or changes in its operation.

To avail of additional services and which involve payment, the User will need to enter the details of their payment card(s) - number, expiry date and the Card Verification Value (CVV). 

The period for which your data is kept will depend on the purposes for which we are processing it, that is, we will process your data for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the corresponding purpose, and we may subsequently keep it, duly stored and protected, for as long as responsibilities may arise from the processing, in compliance with the legislation in force at any given time.

Regarding our Marketing communications, we inform you of the following:

·        If you have given us your consent for marketing purposes, your personal data will be kept for a maximum period of 2 years from the date of your consent or, if you have purchased a GO CHARGE product and/or service, for a period of 5 years from the date of your consent.

·        If you are a customer of ours and there is a legitimate interest to contact you via e-mail, we will hold your details until you tell us that you no longer want them after clicking on the relevant link at the bottom of any marketing e-mail you receive from GOCHARGE.

5)     With whom do we share your personal data?

Your personal data is treated with the utmost confidentiality and is used solely and exclusively for the purposes identified.

GOCHARGE guarantees that it will never sell, loan or give your personal details to a third party without your express and explicit consent.

As previously stated, your personal data will be shared with EVIO - Electrical Mobility, Lda (hereinafter EVIO), with registered office at Av. D. Afonso Henriques, 1825, 4450-017 Matosinhos, as the Electricity Supply Company ("CEME"), as responsible for the processing of your data in the event of the conclusion of a contract for the supply of electricity in the public network of MOBI.E.

As the entity responsible for the development and maintenance of the GOCHARGE platform, EVIO will also have access to your personal data, as a subcontractor of GO CHARGE, and its privacy policy can also be consulted at .

Furthermore, in order to ensure that we deal with your enquiries and provide you with the best possible assistance, your personal data may be shared with our suppliers or service providers, for example:

·        Financial Institutions.

·        Technology Service Providers.

·        Service providers related to customer support.

GOCHARGE guarantees that all the above-mentioned entities are also equipped with technical and organizational measures to ensure the complete protection of your personal data and that they will only process your data for the purposes inherent to the execution of the contract.

If your personal data is to be shared with entities that are not located in the European Economic Area, GOCHARGE ensures that they are obliged to comply with European legislation on the protection of personal data, in particular by concluding international data transfer agreements with standard contractual clauses to this effect.

In case of installation of Toyota or Lexus branded equipment (example: Toyota wallbox or Lexus wallbox), your personal data is transmitted to TOYOTA CAETANO PORTUGAL, S.A. (NIPC 500239037), as responsible for the mentioned brands, for contractual management: warranties and responsibilities of the contracted products and services and for quality management of the contracted products and services, including responses to incidents, complaints and claims.

You have the right, whenever you wish and free of charge, to ask GO CHARGE to:

·        Access the data you have given us.

·        Request the rectification of your data.

·        Request the deletion of your data.

·        Request the limitation of the processing of your data.

·        Oppose the processing of your data.

·        Request the portability of your data to the entity you have indicated.

If you have given us your consent to the processing of your data for any purpose, you are also entitled to withdraw your consent at any time through the forms already mentioned in this Privacy Policy.
